"From orphan to global: the Yin and Yang of JC virus in the nervous system"

Objectives:

  1. To describe all the pathogenic aspects of JC virus in the nervous system.
  2. To discuss how orphan diseases can be used as models to understand broader principles of pathogenesis.        
  3. To recognize the use of metagenomics for virome studies.
